The Winemaking Studio™  is a space for new and novice winemakers to experience the joy of winemaking in a fun, social and intimate environment. Offering equipment, ingredients and mentoring, we provide an experience that you can check off your bucket list while still anticipating a return for more fun. 

All sales final.

In most states you can legally make up to 200 gallons of wine per year at home without a permit (check your state regulations to be sure as it may vary). Come see me. I’d love to get you on the right track. 

Heck no!  I’m only an expert at liking what I like. My palate is wide ranging and I don’t claim to be anything but a wine lover, winemaker and Vino’s Chick. Don’t judge me I won’t judge you #nowinesnobzone

 We can accommodate groups of 16 in Dahlonega and 30 in McDonough.

We are a destination. An experience. McDonough isn't that far from Atlanta and 

Dahlonega is beautiful, off the beaten path and situated right in wine country. The drive is easy and scenic. There’s so much to do in Dahlonega and the North Georgia Mountains so plan a day to come make some wine with us, then visit a couple of wineries/vineyards, do brunch or lunch at one of the many local restaurants, go shopping, take a scenic hike…the list goes on. But just get in the car and get up here to hang with us! If all else fails move closer.

 When we're busy setting up for your scheduled experience, including mopping,  we don't want you to slip and fall, so doors open 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation. If you arrive earlier please feel free to relax on our benches or pick up one of our hula hoops and go at it.

Sorry to hear that. Histamines found in the skin of grapes seem to give some people headaches if they are sensitive to histamines. Luckily, wine can be made from so many fruit sources and at DWS, we’ve got you covered with an assortment of non-grape options. So….when are you coming to see us so you can get rid of the wine headache by making your own histamine free wine?
